Hi, my name is Eugen and I'm one of the founders of Connected Living!
Here is my short personal experience report of ChefCoco. Learn more about how we make recommendations here.
The images above are from my real meals from last week - the fork is for scale ;-)
Spending your lunch break on cooking?
Many of us work from home these days - at least part of the week.
If you're like me - you probably don't want to cook for yourself in your lunch break. Ordering food from a restaurant is also not great - you have to pick something, wait for the delivery. Then there is all the packaging waste.
ChefCoco - daily fresh meal delivery
Since I started using ChefCoco I must say - it's perfect for my home office situation!
I have no time to cook and I also don't want to think about what I'm gonna eat each day.
They deliver a fresh meal for 7.99€ every morning and I just need to warm it up.

Sustainable - reusable packaging for almost zero waste
The reusable Vytal containers mean there is literally zero packaging waste - you just give back your previous day's container to the delivery person. Sometimes there is a small extra container for a salad dressing - but it's still much better than throwing away the whole packaging.
They deliver using electric cargo bikes - that means zero emissions and nobody has to carry my meal on their back.
Large portions - enough to feed two people usually
I was surprised how big the portions actually are - usually it's enough for my lunch and a little snack in the afternoon (note: I'm a big guy).
If my girlfriend is home it's usually enough to feed both of us. So it's effectively 4€ per person which is a great deal.
It's freshly cooked and delivered every day - you just need to warm it up. It's cheaper than a food delivery from a restaurant because they can plan ahead for the whole week and cook in larger quantities, I guess.
Special Offer - 12€ off and free delivery
We now have a special offer for Connected Living members - you get 12€ off in your first week - you get the discount code in your Connected Living app, if you live in the delivery area (Berlin Mitte and Berlin Prenzlauer Berg).
Also, if 5 neighbors from the same community use ChefCoco everybody gets free delivery - so you save another 4€ per week.
Just ask your neighbors if they want to join forces and agree on a delivery time - like 10am - so you get the free delivery!
